Medicare

If you are one of the RHCA countries except New Zealand and the Republic of Ireland, is entitled to a Medicare card reciprocity.

Note that even if you are eligible for Medicare under a reciprocal agreement with your country, you will be covered only relate to necessary medical treatment. This does not apply to treatment that is deemed not completed, elective, or treatment in a private hospital, and you will not be able to choose your own doctor in the hospital.
